In class we learnt about how in Kohelet the speaker changes. We know this
because Shlomo is now saying I more and he changed his attitude. The Amal
says that the goal of man is to make an impact in the world. He says that the
only purpose for man is to change the world, but man has no ability to do so.
He also says everything that man makes isn't perfect, so he cannot make an
impact on the world. This doesn't make sense to me. I do not understand why
Shlomo is saying that none can change the world. Although I would have to
say that Shlomo made a fairly large impact on the world.
