This week we talked about how Shlomo views things like knowledge, parties and toil pointless beacuse they do not last. He wants to know everything but can't and if he can't have it all he doesn't want it. He says if parties aren't even important the next day, how will they be important in the long run? And he wonders what will happen to all of his hard work in the future.
Because he doesn't completely understand these things he sees them as pointless.
Even though I do not personally agree with these statements I can learn from them that it is important to make good choices in your life and to make the most of your time.
